LG Chem Signs Licence Agreement with Valinge

Viken, Sweden, November 08, 2006–LG Chem Ltd has entered into a licence agreement with Välinge Innovation AB.

LG Chem is a vertically integrated chemical company that manufacturers a wide range of products from petrochemical goods to high value added plastics and high performances industrial materials. LG’s Industrial Material Business Unit will now launch a unique and HDF based floor covering product with a plastic based surface layer and a thin wood product utilising Välinge’s patented mechanical joining systems for floor boards.
