Manufacturing Continues To Expand in June

Tempe, AZ, July 1, 2014 — Growth in the U.S. manufacturing sector slowed slightly in June, according to the Institute for Supply Management.

However, new orders reached a six-month high.

ISM said its index of manufactuing was 55.3 in June, almost unchanged from May’s 55.4 reading.

A reading above 50 indicates expansion.
