Philadelphia, PA, April 17, 2014 — Manufacturing sentiment in the Philadelphia region improved in April, according to the Philadelphia Fed’s manufacturing index.
The latest reading of 16.6 in April was up from 9.0 in March, and better that the 10 reading economists expected.
It was also the strongest reading since last September. Readings above zero indicated expansion.
