Dalton, GA, Jun. 2–The Thirty-Third Annual CRI Health & Safety Awards Breakfast was held at the NorthWest Georgia Trade & Convention Center on May 26. More than 130 people attended the event, representing 142 manufacturing facilities and 99 distribution locations.
The top award to a company with manufacturing facilities was presented to Milliken, and the top award to a company with distribution facilities was a tie between Milliken and BP Amoco Fabrics & Fibers.
Top winning individual manufacturing facilities were:
·Group A–Shaw Industries, Plant WF
·Group B–Milliken & Company, Milstar
·Group C–BP Amoco Fabrics & Fibers, Bainbridge
·Group D–BP Amoco Fabrics & Fibers, Nashville
·Group E–SI Corporation, Chickamauga
Top winning individual distribution facilities were:
·Group A–Shaw Industries, Plant 26
·Group B–BP Amoco Fabrics & Fibers, R/T Austell
·Group C–Shaw Industries, Plant 79
One associate member was also recognized for their participation in the program:
·Card-Monroe Corp.
