Mohawk Begins Selling Strand Bamboo Products

Dalton, GA, Aug. 13, 2010–Mohawk Industries has entered the strand bamboo market.

Mohawk said its new strand woven styles have been tested to be twice as hard as domestic oak and can contribute to LEED.

Mohawk is introducing two new bamboo lines, Hilea in its Rarity Collection and Kahala in the Artiquity Collection. 
Both bamboo lines will be available with Mohawk’s Uniclic glueless installation system.
