Mohawk Shuttering Holden, WV Solid Hardwood Plant

Holden, WV, March 10, 2017—Mohawk will consolidate its Holden, West Virginia hardwood operations into its recently upgraded Melbourne, Arkansas hardwood facility.

The West Virginia facility, which will close by May 7, made solid hardwood flooring, and its closing is evidence of the market’s shift towards engineered hardwood flooring products.

Both the Holden and Melbourne facilities were acquired as part of Mohawk’s purchase of Columbia in 2007.
