Lake City, SC, Nov. 8, 2012 — Nan Ya Plastics Corp. America raised prices for PET resin Nov. 1 by $0.03 per pound.
The latest increase comes on the heels of a $0.04 increase in September and a $0.06 increase in October, according to letters the company sent to customers.
The demand for PET resin is growing due in part to the increasing demand for polyester carpet.
