New Orders for Manufactured Goods Rebounded in June

Washington, DC, August 4, 2015—New orders for manufactured goods rebounded in June, increasing by 1.8% after a revised 1.1% decline in May, according to the Commerce Department.

May factory orders were previously reported to have dropped 1.0%.

June’s rebound was based on strong demand for transportation equipment and other goods.
