New York, NY, Sept. 10, 2012 — The price of oil fell to near $96 a barrel Monday ahead of a U.S. central bank meeting later this week.
By early afternoon in Europe, benchmark oil for October delivery was down 26 cents to $96.16 a barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
