
New York, NY, Aug. 24, 2010–Oil prices fell to near $72 a barrel Tuesday as the dollar strengthened against the euro and regional markets fell on concerns about the pace of the global economic recovery.
By early afternoon in Europe, benchmark crude for October delivery was down $0.81 $72.29 a barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
