Pending Home Sales Fall in October

Washington, DC, Nov. 25, 2013 — Pending home sales fell in October for the fifth straight month, according to the National Association of Realtors.

The pending home sales index fell 0.6% to 102.1 and dropped to its lowest level since last December, NAR said. A year ago the index stood at 103.8.

NAR said the government kept some potential buyers out of the market.
