Pending Home Sales Rise in January

Washington, DC, Feb. 27, 2015 — Pending home sales increased 1.7% in January, according to the National Association of Realtors.

Economists expected pending home sales would rise 2% last month.

“All indications point to modest sales gains as we head into the spring buying season,” said NAR Chief Economist Lawrence Yun.
