Washington, DC, Oct. 29, 2012 — Personal spending rose 0.8% in September, according to the Commerce Department.
That was higher than expected and stronger than the 0.5% gain in August.
In addition, personal income rose 0.4% in September, higher than the 0.1% increase in August.
