Pfleiderer Building Plant in Russia for Furniture

St. Petersburg, Russia, July 15, 2008–Laminate and board maker Pfleiderer  AG is building a second factory in Russia, to be launched in next summer, local officials said in statement on Tuesday.

The plant, in which Pfleiderer is investing $229.7 million, is in Russia’s northern-west region of Novgorod, near Pfleiderer’s first Russian factory, built two years ago.

It will produce 500,000 square meters of board per year for the furniture industry.
