Pfleiderer Names New Board Chairman

Neumarkt, Germany, Sept. 16, 2011 — Pfleiderer has named a new chairman of its supervisory board as well as a new board member as the company’s restructuring continues.

Florian Kawohl has been appointed as a member of the board by court order, replacing Hanno C. Fiedler, who stepped down as of Aug. 31.

Kawohl is a managing director of investment firm Strategic Value Partner.

With the departure of Fiedler, the position of board chairman also became vacant. Harald Joachim Joos, was named to take his place.
