Chattanooga, TN, Sept. 1, 2009—Propex Operating Company LLC said that prices of all Polybac, Actionbac. and all other backings for the carpet industry will be increased an average of 15% effective Sept. 14.
The continued escalation of petrochemical based raw materials is the primary reason for the increase, the company said.
