Resilient Firm Burke Flooring Raising Prices

San Jose, CA, Jan. 24, 2011 — Resilient flooring firm Burke Flooring said it will increase prices 4% across all products, effective with shipments on March 1. 

“The industry continues to see cost increases for raw materials, fuel and energy as part of a total macro trend,” said Burke President Bob Pitman.

“In the past it has been possible to offset a portion of rising costs by sustained growth, but we have reached a point where a price increase is inevitable.”
