Washington, DC, Aug. 13, 2010–U.S. retail sales rebounded in July, the Commerce Department said.
Sales climbed 0.4% last month following a revised 0.3% drop in June.
However, the rise was concentrated in vehicle and gasoline sales.
Excluding autos, sales advanced just 0.2% compared with a median forecast of 0.3%.
