Russian Patent Office Confirms Unilin’s RU 2 252 994 Patent

Wielsbeke, Belgium, March 14, 2017—On March 10, 2017 the Russian Patent Office confirmed the validity of Unilin’s Russian pretension patent RU 2 252 994 as granted following an invalidation action brought against the patent.

The invalidation action was filed on August 26, 2016 by Torgovy Dom Allians, which Unilin believes acted as a representative for an undisclosed third party.

Unilin currently has 40 granted patents and 15 patent applications in Russia, all protecting different technologies used in the flooring industry.
