Sika AG Agrees To Acquire Rest of Spanish Firm

Baar, Switzerland, Oct. 6, 2011 — Sika AG has agreed to acquire 100% of Comercial de Preresa, SA, a company with a strong position in the flooring, repair and reinforcement markets in Spain and Portugal.

In 1999 Sika acquired a 34% stake of the company.

Copsa is located in Madrid and was founded in 1994. Over the years the company has developed a wide range of construction chemical products.

The acquisition of Copsa will enable Sika to strengthen the position and penetration in the Iberian market.
