Styron To Increase Latex Prices

Midland, MI, Jan. 31, 2011 — Styron said it is increasing the prices of all products sold into the carpet and performance latex markets in the U.S. and Canada beginning Feb. 28.

The increase will be $0.06 per dry pound for all Styrene Butadiene latex and $0.05 per dry pound on all acrylic latex products.

Styron cited the rising cost of raw materials used in the products as the reason for the increase.
