Tandus Broadloom Wins Design Award

Dalton, GA, Dec. 10, 2012 — Tandus Flooring’s Needle Tech collection has won the Best of Year Award for broadloom carpet in Interior Design’s 2012 Product Competition.

The collection, which also won a Best of NeoCon Gold and IIDEX Gold Innovation Award this year, is a hand-stitched look similar to the hand-crafted construction of needlepoint, crochet and traditional Japanese origami.

It incorporates Tandus’ new yarn processing and tufting techniques to mimic the appearance of cut/uncut pile on a 100% solution-dyed, loop-pile construction.
