Tarkett Just Short of Full Sintelon Takeover

Nanterre, France, Aug. 5, 2009–Tarkett almost reached its target of 100 percent ownership of Serbian floorcovering firm Sintelon.

Tarkett acquired around 35% of the remaining shares by the July 2 deadline, bringing its total to 99.3%.

Sintelon is listed at the Belgrade stock exchange.
