Topps Tiles Cutting Costs After Sales Decline

London, England, May 29, 2013 — Tile and wood flooring chain Topps Tiles today said it was cutting costs in response to falling sales.

The firm said like-for-like sales fell 2.6% in the eight weeks to May 25.

​Chief executive Matthew Williams said the cuts included a reduction in the hours staff worked at stores.
