Unilin-Windmöller’s Patent Confirmed on Appeal

Dallas, TX–February 27, 2015–On February 24, the Board of Appeal confirmed the validity of Windmöller’s patent, overturning the previous negative decision. No further appeal is possible.

The patent has a broad scope of protection, which can be described as a layered click LVT plank made out of PVC, between 4mm and 8mm thickness. Similar patent protection is already granted in the U.S.
