Vinyl Flooring Imports Up 12.2% YOY in January

Charlotte, NC, March 14, 2025-Vinyl flooring imports were up 12.2% YOY in units in January, following a modestly positive result in December and very mixed results that saw an 8.6% decline in 2023 and a 3.0% increase in 2024, reports Truist. 

Import dollars were up 6.4% in January but are still off from the 25.8% decline seen in 2023. Overall, Vietnam and South Korea continued to gain unit share in January. The increase from the largest countries could indicate importing ahead of tariffs.
