Web Hardwood Firm Acquires Factory in Brazil

Sarasota, FL, November 20, 2015 — AdvantageLumber.com has acquired Companhia Madeireira, one of the largest hardwood lumber factories in Northern Brazil. 

The company, part of Advantage Trim & Lumber Co., the company supplies hardwood decking, flooring, and lumber made from exotic species including ipe, cumaru, tigerwood and massaranduba.

The 130,000-square-foot facility is FSC-certified and is capable of an annual production of 3 million square feet of hardwood flooring and other products.

Advantage said the acquisition gives it direct control of the supply chain.
