Wholesale Inventories Rise in February

Washington, DC, April 9, 2014 — U.S. wholesale inventories rose more slowly in February than in January, according to the Commerce Department.

The government said wholesale inventories increased 0.5% after a revised 0.8% gain in January.

Inventories are a key component of gross domestic product.
